Introducing Matt Kilgariff

We are pleased to announce and welcome Matt Kilgariff as The Director of Player Development and our The Richard C. Helmstetter Performance Centre Director.

Matt joined The Olympic Club in 2013, prior to that a majority of Matt’s 20+ years of experience and expertise was developed when he was Lead Instructor at The Butch Harmon School of Golf. Butch Harmon, the #1 instructor in the world, was Matt’s mentor and personal coach. For more than 13 years, Matt directly assisted, consulted with and provided technical expertise to Butch as he coached countless PGA Tour Professionals. Also during that time, Matt developed his own following. His clientele included: PGA Tour and LPGA Tour players, collegiate players, elite juniors, major sports figures and entertainment and business celebrities.

As the Director of Player Development at The Olympic Club, Matt continues to grow the game. He has conducted more than 1,500 hours of lessons per year and developed and implemented an elite junior program with over 200 golfers. He and his team will keep striving to learn and improve in order to provide you with a learning experience like no other.
